The Oprah of Murals
One of the things I noticed about Portland right away was how nice the graffiti was. I don’t necessarily mean in design or style, i mean in ethics. I would see things like “Smile, you’re beautiful!” or “You’re worth more than you know!” But in New York, instead of graffiti, there’s just tons of murals. There are so many artists hiding under the hustle and grit of this place, and you see it on every street corner.
