Superkick!
I’ve been wanting to break into Live Streaming to discuss some of my process and force me to practice and improve it, but I’ve always kind of felt like my stream wouldn’t be interesting so it kept getting pushed off. But Alejandro Paz, creator of Chorizo, Hyena, and a ton of other shark-tank-esq businesses was having the same struggle and decided to fix that by streaming with friends.
Superkick is still being figured out but I jumped in on episode two, combining my photography from my trip to Mexico with his Luchador fighting pig, and Luvjones who made us a soundtrack to the experience. It’s not a perfect formula but I think it has a lot of potential and it was so much more fun streaming with these dorks than by myself in a dark corner in my dark room.
The plan is to eventually add a little animation to this and start recording these videos into podcasts but it was done through Instagram Live and it didn’t give us the option to save our video. So for now, here’s the results. Hopefully more of these to come!
