Reflections of a City Dweller

The thing that I’ve learned about NYC is that it’s all about the people. You’re forced to surround yourself here because things are too expensive to do on your own and/or because anything worth doing will attract a crowd. So you learn to not be alone here. You gain travel buddies to help you get out of the city. You make friends with people who can align on your distaste for New York. You learn to cope with crowds by crowding yourself with a friend to complain about it all with. For someone who enjoys her alone time, NYC is right outside of my box and I’m learning to live there.
