Blue Skies
I spent most of my life driving in circles on Oahu (though that average is starting to lean the other way.) So the first time I moved to the Mainland, the weirdest phenomena that affected me was its lack of clouds. Back home, the beach is basically at arms reach and anytime you're near the water, you're going to have clouds. So seeing clear skies like this was almost unsettling at first. I've learned to appreciate it now- as a photographer, clear blue skies have become one of my favorite forms of negative space, but I still count the clouds any time they part like this.
