Things That Aren't and No Longer Can
Karim @karimbaaba
There’s a playground hidden past a little gate on Carmine Street that I pass almost every day and only recently discovered. I think I hadn’t noticed it because I’m always so stuck in my own world, usually thinking about something that seems important at the time but is totally probably absolutely irrelevant and more so forgotten within a minute of it passing through me anyway. For someone who likes to explore and enjoys the little details in life, I pretty much miss anything that’s right in front of me.
It’s actually something I’ve been actively trying to work on lately - that feeling of being stuck. The feeling of ignoring the things around me because I had a thought or a feeling or something that suddenly occurs to me that makes my eyebrows furrow as much as they can which really just isn’t.
So anyway, here’s some pictures of Karim from the very first time I walked into that playground and decided to stop ignoring all sorts of things.
